WarrantyOnPoint Lasers, Inc. has a long standing history of excellent customer care. Our commitment to our customers does not end when our products leave the warehouse. All of our products are guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship.
Working mechanisms, hardware and accessories are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for a period of one year from the delivery date. Warning label must be intact and there must be no evidence of abuse or disassembly of any part of the pointer. Claims under our product guarantee must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or other proof of purchase.

OnPoint Lasers ships worldwide with UPS from our warehouse in Minneapolis, MN!
Orders placed by phone, internet, fax or email by 12pm Central time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 12pm Central time will ship the next business day.

If you have an account number with UPS that you prefer we use, please call, email us or include the account number on your purchase order.

International Orders:
For orders outside the United States, OnPoint Lasers, Inc. ships by UPS. Costs vary extensively depending on your location. It is our policy to keep our shipping prices low by passing along our volume savings to you. Your order will probably be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. Unfortunately, OnPoint Lasers, Inc. has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.
The shipping charges you pay to OnPoint Lasers, Inc. do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to OnPoint Lasers, Inc. and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.
OnPoint Lasers, Inc. has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. so please do not ask us to do so - we don't have this information. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.
It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order!
About Us
In 1994, Dean DeHarpporte built a little website and started looking for products to sell. He was ahead of the curve as e-commerce was in its infancy at the time. After trying several products with little success, he found laser pointers. His first order of 50 pieces was held up in customs for more than 6 months! Just when he believed the lasers were lost for good, they showed up on his doorstep. Once on the website, the orders poured in and Margaret, Dean’s wife, went to work packing. Having learned the ins and outs of the FDA approval process and US customs, future shipments came in much more quickly and DeHarpporte Trading Company was born.
The next phase of growth came in the late 90’s with the introduction of green laser pointers. Much brighter at the same 5mW output, green laser pointers quickly became popular with astronomers and other night sky watchers. As the price dropped, sales climbed, and DeHarpporte Trading Company soon became one of the largest US importers of green laser pointers.
In 2004, Dean’s daughter, son and first employee joined the company as it continued to grow. DeHarpporte Trading Company changed its name and incorporated as OnPoint Lasers, Inc. Together, we moved the business out of Dean’s house and into a beautiful office/warehouse right on the Mississippi River across from downtown Minneapolis, MN.
In 2005, we welcomed our second employee, upgraded the office, created a new corporate identity, printed our first dealer catalog and attended our first trade show! In July, Dean retired and began the process of transferring ownership of OnPoint Lasers, Inc. to his daughter, Colette. Now as 2005 comes to a close and we are truly settled into our new home and new identity, we look forward to new products and new customers. Welcome to OnPoint Lasers, Inc.!
